Fine dining with magnificent views is something that the Central Coast does best, proudly boasting a number of award-winning restaurants, however if you are looking for something a little different, there are also a couple of well known wineries and distilleries which are worth a visit.
At St Fiacre Distillery, visitors can enjoy herbs in their natural earthly environment by meandering among the 2.5 acres of picturesque gardens. When you enter the distillery itself you meet them in their immortal state – the spirit world. Visitors are welcome to:
Distillery opening hours are 10am – 5pm Wednesday to Sunday.
Café opening hours are 10am – 5pm Saturday and Sunday.
Firescreek Fruit Winery opened its cellar doors in December 2003 to offer you a seasonal variety of boutique fruit flower and herb wines. Fruit wines are very often bold in flavour and taste.
Firescreek Fruit wines vary in complexity, acidity, sweetness, aroma, bouquet and mouth feel. Different vintages of the same wine vary just as grape wines, reflecting the difference between pickings. They are sure you will find something that pleases and intrigues your palate, so you are welcome to visit and sample some of their wines.
